  • Day 01: Hanoi – Arrival

    Arrival at Hanoi Airport. Warm welcome by your driver from Vietnam Lucky Tour and transfer to your hotel.

    In the early afternoon, enjoy a pleasant walk around the stunning Hoan Kiem Lake, also known as the Lake of the Returned Sword. Take this opportunity to visit the iconic Ngoc Son Temple, located on Jade Mountain Island, where you’ll be immersed in a peaceful atmosphere and admire breathtaking scenery.

    For a truly authentic experience, don’t miss a cyclo ride through the historic Old Quarter, famously known as the 36 guild streets. During this one-hour journey, dive into the vibrant daily life of Hanoi’s locals and soak in the energetic pulse of this bustling city.   • Day 02: Hanoi – City Tour

    After breakfast, your city exploration continues with a visit to the Ho Chi Minh Complex.   • Day 03: Hanoi – Nghia Lo

    After breakfast, you leave Hanoi and head toward Nghia Lo. Along the way, you’ll pass through stunning Vietnamese countryside: beautiful mountains, rice fields, rivers, and tea plantations.

    Upon arrival in the charming town of Nghia Lo, you’ll settle into a local home in Nghia An Village—a picturesque place inhabited by around 70 households of Black Thai people, located in the second-largest valley in northern Vietnam.

    Next, take a walking tour through the village to explore traditional stilt houses, lush gardens, local crops, and the daily life of this ethnic community in the midland regions.

    End your day with a delicious dinner and an authentic overnight stay with a local family in Nghia An.

  • Day 04: Nghia Lo – La Pan Tan Village – Mu Cang Chai

    After breakfast, we’ll make a short stop at the Muong Lo Market, which is bustling with life every morning. We then continue our journey toward Mu Cang Chai, following what photographers call the "scenic route." Along the way, we’ll pause to admire breathtaking landscapes, especially the stunning Tu Le Valley, renowned as the birthplace of the finest sticky rice in Vietnam.

    We’ll pass through magnificent terraced rice fields, and visit Thai and Hmong villages, where the locals proudly wear their traditional costumes and welcome us with genuine warmth.

    Lunch will be served along the way.

    Right after crossing the Khau Pha Pass, perched at an altitude of 1,580 meters, we’ll enjoy a pleasant walk to La Pan Tan Village, considered the capital of Vietnam’s terraced rice fields. This unique place is where generations of human hands have shaped the landscape into a breathtaking work of art.

    Upon arrival in Mu Cang Chai, you’ll settle into a local homestay and take a gentle walk through a Thai ethnic village.

  • Day 05: Mu Cang Chai – Sapa – Minority Villages of Lao Chai & Ta Van

    Early in the morning, you depart from Mu Cang Chai and head towards Sapa, passing through a beautiful plain shaped by the Nam Na River before crossing the famous Hoang Lien Son mountain range, near its highest peak, Mount Fanxipan.

    You arrive in Sapa, known as the “town in the clouds.” As the main destination of the Northwest, Sapa (pronounced “Chapa”) is nestled in a stunning valley surrounded by magnificent mountains dotted with charming hamlets. This region, known for its pleasant climate, is home to several ethnic minorities, including the Black Hmong, Red Dzao, and Zay people. Explore the town and its highlights, such as the Sapa Market—formerly known as the “Love Market”—and the Cathedral built by French colonists.

    Continue your walk along scenic paths through the hill tribe villages of Lao Chai and Ta Van, home to the H’mong and Dzay minorities. You’ll be amazed by the breathtaking landscapes and touched by the incredible warmth of the local people. You’ll have the chance to meet H’mong and Dzay communities, get to know them, and engage in meaningful exchanges.

    During this excursion, you will discover many traditional handicraft activities such as weaving and embroidery. You’ll be welcomed into a Dzay family and may even visit a primary school in Ta Van Village, where students from various ethnic backgrounds study together.

    You’ll spend the night in a traditional house, enjoying a homemade dinner prepared by your local hosts.

  • Day 06: Ta Van – Minority Village of Giang Ta Chai – Bac Ha

    After breakfast, lovingly prepared by your homestay host, set off on a memorable adventure to discover the village of Giang Ta Chai. This unforgettable hike will lead you through enchanting bamboo forests and majestic waterfalls, home to the fascinating Red Dao community.

    As you continue your journey, you’ll be amazed by the endless mountain landscapes stretching before you. The road takes you to Bac Ha, where you’ll have the opportunity to visit charming and remote villages such as Thai Giang Pho, Na Lo, and Ban Pho. These well-preserved places are inhabited by the Colorful Hmong and the Tay, who will warmly welcome you into their unique cultural world.

    During this enriching experience, you'll also have the chance to explore the Hmong Royal Palace. Built in 1922 during the French colonial era, this palace once served as the residence of the Hmong king.   • Day 07: Colorful Market – Pathen Village – Ha Giang

    After breakfast, begin your day early with a visit to the lively and colorful Bac Ha Market, renowned as a vibrant gathering place for the region's various ethnic groups, especially the Colorful Hmong. Held every Sunday, this special market is not only ideal for discovering the rich culture of local minorities, but also traditionally served as a place for young men and women to meet and exchange affections.

    Afterward, set out on the road to Ha Giang, located 180 km from Bac Ha. Along the way, several stops are planned to visit local villages. You’ll have the opportunity to admire the vibrant traditional clothing of the Pathen ethnic group. With a population of only about 4,000 people, the Pathen remain a relatively rare ethnic group in Vietnam. This encounter with such a unique and preserved culture will undoubtedly be one of the most meaningful moments of your trip.

    After a fulfilling day, enjoy a free dinner in the charming town of Ha Giang.

    In the evening, you’ll stay at a comfortable standard mini-hotel, offering everything you need to rest and recharge before continuing your journey.

  • Day 08: Ha Giang – Quan Ba – Yen Minh – Dong Van

    Set off toward Dong Van, the fascinating Stone Plateau of Vietnam, passing through Quan Ba and Yen Minh. Along the way, take time to stop and admire the majestic Heaven's Gate, the Fairy Mountains, and a H’mong village renowned for its exceptional traditional weaving.Lunch will be served en route.

    In the afternoon, continue your journey through breathtaking landscapes. You’ll visit the Royal Palace of the H’mong King Vuong Chi Sinh, a famous historical site dating back to the French colonial era.

  • Day 09: Dong Van – Meo Vac – Bao Lac

    After breakfast, your adventure continues toward Meo Vac, passing through the majestic Ma Pi Leng Pass, which rises over 2,000 meters in altitude. A short hike along this mountain ridge offers a breathtaking panorama over a valley dotted with terraced hemp fields, karst hills, stilt houses belonging to the H’mong and Dao ethnic groups, and the peaceful, romantic Nho Que River, which originates in China and winds its way into Vietnam like a soft ribbon of white silk.A descent into a nearby village will give you the opportunity to meet locals and discover their culture and daily life.

    Just 13 km from Bao Lac, you’ll arrive at the picturesque Black Lo Lo Village, made famous as the filming location for the documentary “Terre Inconnue” broadcast on France 2. Immerse yourself in the enchanting atmosphere of this village and share unforgettable moments with its people.

    In the early afternoon, head to Bac Ngoi Village, where the Black Tay warmly welcome you. Surrounded by lush jungle, this peaceful village sits at the edge of the beautiful Ba Be Lake.   • Day 11: Ba Be – Lake Cruise – Thai Nguyen – Hanoi

    Today, enjoy a peaceful boat excursion on the majestic Ba Be Lake, continuing along the Nang River. This natural wonder offers the opportunity to explore the surrounding tropical national park, with essential stops at the limestone Puong Cave and the beautiful Dau Dang Waterfall.

    After disembarking, we resume our journey toward Hanoi, making several stops along the way to visit charming ethnic villages and capture stunning photos of a tea plantation.

    We will arrive in Hanoi in the late afternoon.

  • Day 12: Hanoi – Halong Bay – Cruise on a Junk Boat

    We begin our journey to Halong Bay, one of the Eight Wonders of the World, where nearly 3,000 limestone islets stretch across an area of 1,553 km². Upon arrival in Halong in the late morning, we will discover this magical place.

    At the Ha Long Port, we will be transferred to our junk boat by tender. Once on board, you will be welcomed with a refreshing welcome drink before checking into your cabin.

    Enjoy a lunch of local specialties while cruising through Bai Tu Long Bay. You’ll be enchanted by the variously shaped limestone karsts, naturally sculpted over time by wind and water erosion.

    A rowboat excursion to Vung Vieng fishing village will offer a glimpse into the lives of the local people. You'll also have the opportunity to visit the floating school and a pearl farm.

    Take a swim in the emerald waters of the bay before returning to the junk. As sunset approaches, admire the magnificent scenery of the bay…

    During the cruise, you’ll also have the chance to join a Vietnamese cooking class. We will drop anchor in the Cong Do area for the night.

    An unforgettable dinner featuring seafood prepared in both Vietnamese and Western styles will be served. In the evening, you may choose to watch a movie, play chess, strum a guitar, go squid fishing, or simply gaze at the starry sky from the deck.

    Once you're energized, get ready to explore the stunning Thien Canh Son Cave. This natural wonder will transport you into a magical world, with stalactites and stalagmites beautifully sculpted over time.

    Back on the junk, take a moment to rest and check your cabin before settling in comfortably.

    As you cruise back toward the port, enjoy a buffet brunch featuring a variety of delicious dishes.

    Upon disembarkation, your driver will meet you at the pier to begin your journey to Tam Coc, traveling through the picturesque provinces of the Red River Delta.

  • Day 14: Tam Coc – Rowboat Excursion – Mua Cave (Dancing Cave) – Hanoi

    After breakfast, it's time to board a traditional rowboat and set off to discover the splendid landscapes of the Ngo Dong River. Let yourself be enchanted by the majestic limestone cliffs and the calm waters during this relaxing and wonderful morning. Don't miss the chance to visit the beautiful Bich Dong Pagoda as well.

    On the way, be sure to stop at the Dancing Cave (Hang Mua). Climb the 486 stone steps leading to the summit of the bell-shaped mountain, where a stunning panoramic view of the "Inland Halong Bay" awaits. On one side, you'll be amazed by the winding Tam Coc River dotted with rowboats, and on the other, a wide cultivated plain sprinkled with limestone karsts rising from the ground. After taking in the views, you’ll descend past the Dancing Cave, located at the foot of the mountain.

    Next, we’ll head to Hoa Lu, in Ninh Binh Province, home to the ancient capital of Vietnam under three feudal dynasties: Dinh, Early Le, and Ly. You’ll visit two 19th-century temples dedicated to King Dinh Tien Hoang and King Le Dai Hanh, offering you a deep dive into the fascinating history of the region.

    After this enriching day of discoveries, we return to Hanoi in the afternoon, with a transfer to the airport for your departure flight (flight not included).
