This morning, get ready to discover the wonderful region of the Mekong Delta, also known as the rice bowl of Vietnam. Upon your arrival in Ben Tre, begin your boat cruise on the Ham Luong River and visit Long Thanh Island, stopping at Mr. Ut Viet’s house to enjoy fruits, honey tea, and admire the process of coconut shell charcoal making. Continue your cruise to Mo Cay. Stop to explore the area and visit a coconut processing workshop. Take a xe Lam (a motorized cart) and make a stop to visit a local broom-making workshop, then enjoy a sampan ride along the canal before continuing your cruise to a local house for a delicious lunch of regional specialties. After the meal, take time to stroll around and discover local life.
Pick up the car and head to your lodge located in the heart of the Mekong Delta (Jardin du Mékong).
Settle into your room and take some time to rest before joining a cooking class organized by our lodge. You are then invited to savor a dinner made up of traditional regional dishes. Taste authentic flavors and discover the culinary richness of the Ben Tre region.
After the meal, relax with a foot bath in hot water infused with lemongrass, perfect for soothing the fatigue of the day.
