Departure for Cat Ba around 8:00 AM with the boat company’s shared vehicle. Enjoy a 4-hour journey by road, offering exceptional views of picturesque villages and the vast rice fields of the Red River Delta. A stop is scheduled along the way to stretch your legs. Then, we continue to the port, where the boat crew will be eagerly awaiting your arrival.
At 12:15 PM, you will be welcomed on board with a complimentary drink. A crew member and the boat guide will provide a briefing on the itinerary and safety instructions.
At 12:30 PM, you will have the opportunity to enjoy lunch before continuing our journey through the islets. These impressive limestone karst formations rise dramatically from the sea. This area is well-preserved, as few cruise ships take the route passing by Cat Ba Island, Coc Ngoi Islet, and Cua Dong toward the Ba Trai Dao area.
At 2:30 PM, our cruise will sail across Lan Ha Bay, a region surrounded by extraordinary limestone karst landscapes. You will explore the Dark & Bright Cave and the islets by kayak, discovering the wild and mysterious beauty at the heart of this World Heritage site, while also enjoying a refreshing swim in the bay’s crystal-clear waters.
At 3:30 PM, take time to simply enjoy swimming. Immersing yourself in the crystal-clear waters of the bay is a magnificent experience.
At 4:45 PM, upon returning to the boat, you can admire the stunning sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin. On board, you will also have the opportunity to participate in a traditional cooking class. Our chef will teach you how to prepare Vietnamese spring rolls. In the early evening, the boat offers its “Happy Hour.”
At 7:00 PM, dinner will be served. Savor delicious local dishes prepared and served by our wonderful onboard staff. It will be a delightful meal in a romantic and intimate atmosphere.
At 9:00 PM, enjoy the view of Lan Ha Bay at night from the sundeck. Relax with a drink at the bar, try your hand at night squid fishing, and enjoy a fun karaoke session with friends and family. Overnight on board.
